Title Reviewer
We have an immediate opening in our Title Department for an experienced title reviewer to assist with the REO closing process, both internal closings and out of office closings. This person will also assist with clearing titles. Must be familiar with the client systems for Fannie Mae (FNMA) and be willing to communicate with FNMA liaisons as necessary. Must also be familiar with Vendorscape, and MS Office suite and willing to learn our proprietary case management system.
Job Duties:
Analyze and evaluate full title searches and cite any discrepancies using the Georgia Title Standards
Update title searches using online resources and public records
Conduct online lien and document searches
Verify that the correct seller is in title
Confirm the correct legal description
Substantiate whether a title is clear or if it needs further attention
Requirements:
5 – 7 years experience working in a law firm, title company or title examination position
Residential title experience that includes preparing, surveying or reviewing titles in the state of Georgia
Should be a proficient PC user, comfortable using the internet for research and capable of utilizing many functions in Microsoft Outlook
Foreclosure and REO title experience are a plus
Deed Pro familiarity is a plus

The ideal candidate must possess sound knowledge of the coverage of the Mutual Indemnity Agreement, Letters of Indemnities issued by Title Companies, and clearance of title issues. Candidate must also be familiar with using the following systems: GSCCCA, LPS, Vendorscape and Lenstar. Candidate must have good phone skills and be computer savvy.
